Hump Day...

We are one day closer to going home and seeing our family.  I can't wait.  I just don't know how I am going to stand being away from Michael for so long.  I may only stay a week, I don't know if I can stand two.  Yes my husband may get on my nerves, but I love him to death and so does Harley.  We look forward to him coming home everyday.

Harley got more clothes last night when we went out.  This baby is going to like Minnie, if I have to make her! I really just like the "old minnie."  I already have her bag packed to go on Friday.  Now I have to get my stuff together.  We still have to finish Grandma's birthday gifts tonight.  This will be the first year I don't get her a gift card, and I'm very happy about that!

Harley is officially 4 months!  She is getting so big too fast!  She took her shots like a champ!  I think Michael pouted worse than her.  She also has a bad rash that has spread on her back and going towards her belly, it's not bothering her, and she hasn't ran a fever.  The doctor said it was a viral rash, it would take 7-14 days to run its course.  I hope that's all it is, she has had it for almost a week now. 

I just put her back down for a nap in her swing.  I can't believe she is still sleepy she slept till almost 11 today!  Which I was able to sleep in, so I feel so much better.  Well I'm going to go start packing my bag so I don't have to do it all tomorrow.

Today is our Sunday..

I can't believe I haven't been on in a few days, I love coming here to rant when nobody else will listen to me.  Since the last time I blogged, a lot of stuff has went on.  We were able to pay a lot of our bills, we got most of the stuff we needed around the house, and we were still able to save a little over 2,000 dollars. 


I went out and bought stuff to make my moms birthday gifts.  I will post pictures later.  Were going down next weekend to see her and my step dad finally get married, they fight like cats and dogs, but they are perfect for each other, not to mention they have been together for almost 8 years.  They are getting married on her birthday, not really sure why, I guess so that's one less date to remember.  I really hope my mom doesn't read this, lol.  We bought Harley tons of clothes, not like she really needs anymore.  We got us a new television stand, I love it!  We only ended up paying 80 dollars for it.  I'm pretty excited, we don't have to buy us a coffee table.  My sister and brother-in-law is giving us one!  It's really nice. 

Michael and I love our kinect for the x-box, he was sweating by the time he was done playing.  He is really supposed to be at work today, but he asked his Cpl. for the day off and he said yes since he had 24 hour duty Saturday.  So to me today feels like Sunday, but it least it's a short week for him.  We cleaned up a good bit today, finally.  It was over needed.  So our mail just came!  I am happy to say we got Talisman!!  Michael is even more excited.  I am still waiting on my camera which I can't wait to get!  So on to what I am making right now, thanks to pinterest.  I am making photo blocks, they are very time consuming and fun to make especially to see the finished product.  And no it's not just pasting a picture on a block, it is so much more than that.  It takes me about 2 hours to make just one.  Michael is wanting me to sell them, but I'm not sure yet.  He already has a sales pitch and everything, lol.  He keeps saying one for 10$, two for 15$, and so on and so forth.  I've uploaded a couple pictures below..

Lonely..

Tonight is Michael's duty night.  This sucks.  I hate even being away from him a day!  Half of our relationship was long distant, and the first couple months of our marriage was us apart, so I like him coming home to me everyday. :)  So my day in a nutshell, Harley and I had a mommy and me day.  We went to New Bern to get my mom's birthday gift.  We also got my sister and Michael a Valentines present.  We came home to our power being out.  Michael called the power company and a telephone pole blew up.  Progress Energy cut Trenton's power off for a couple hours just for safety precautions.  So we decided to head to Jacksonville.  I got my friend Taylor some baby clothes, she is expecting a baby boy, Bryson, due in a week.  I am so happy for her!

We went and saw Michael on base.  I took him to the commissary to get a rack of ribs and chicken.  His Sgt on duty with him wants to have a cook out tonight, lucky them.  So now were back home resting, I feel like we have been out all day.  I am tired!  When Harley takes her next nap, Mommy is taking her a nap!

Aren't you supposed to look forward to Fridays?

Yay!  Today is Friday, ok not so much yay for me.  Michael has duty tomorrow, I absolutely hate it!  I really just wish we could have a decent weekend without it getting ruined.  Next weekend is my mom's birthday.  We will be leaving next Friday after Michael gets off of work and staying only until Sunday morning.  Believe it or not, that is a hard trip to go 6 hours there on a Friday night, only to leave and come back Sunday morning.  My mom and Michael are going to Florida to see my grandma.  Last night I asked her if Harley and I could go with them to Florida, but I'm sure they will say no.  I just miss my grandma so much, and I really want her to see Harley.  


Tonight we are going out to get our pictures printed out to send some to Grandma.  I am also getting some wood tonight, to see if I can make these picture blocks I found on pinterest.  It's something to keep me busy, and I think it would make a really nice gift for mom for her birthday.


I ordered Michael his very own Talisman game, and one expansion to start us off.  It is very time consuming, it took us 7 hours just to play one game.  It is fun once you learn how to play though!  I ordered some pots and pans, the t-fal kind.  They were like 60 dollars for the set, but they are supposed to be really good.  My grandma showed me a pan last summer that she said she has had since I was born.  Last night we spend 75 dollars for Michael to get these vitamins/fat burners.  It's a 30 day supply and the vitamins are already separated in to these tiny packs.  He has to take 4 at night and 4 in the morning, these things are like horse pills!  Hopefully it helps, it better help for 75 dollars!  The last 2 things we are wanting to get with our taxes is a new television stand and a new coffee table.  When I moved up here last year we bought a cheapo coffee table, and our television is still sitting on a side table. 


So that is another thing we are going to look for tonight.  I want a t.v. stand with a mount for our flat screen.  We can't mount it on the wall especially when we go to base, so we are looking for one hopefully under 100$.  The coffee table I want is a marble top one, but I really don't want to spend over 100$ on that either.  Our coffee table is awful the top is all raised up from all the cups sitting on it, the water damage.  So hopefully we will be able to find those tonight.


Well that's all for now, I'm going to try and clean up a little before Harley gets up from her first nap.

Busy Day.

Yesterday was super busy!  I was able to pay all of our bills up through the month and next.  It's going to be nice not to have any bills coming out of our next check but our loan, so we are still left with almost 1200$.  Most of that is going into savings.  It feels so good to be ahead instead of behind now!


We met up with my best friend yesterday.  We all had a lot of fun.  I think I found Harley's Easter dress!  It's blue, I love blues and purples on her, more than I do pink.  We all met up at Logan's for dinner, they have got to be one of the best steak houses here.   We went to the mall afterwards, Harley got some more clothes, of course.  I hope somebody in our family has a girl next because I have a ton of baby clothes!  Some she didn't even get to wear.  We got my sister a huge...surprise! lol I know she reads my blog, so I am definitely not spilling it on here.  My husband picked up this wookie key chain, it makes the growl sound and everything.  


I can't believe it Harley is still asleep and it's already 6 a.m., she has been asleep since 10 last night.  I love her sleeping through the night again!  I got up to pack Michael's lunch and breakfast.  He has been working his ass off trying to lose this weight.  I'm so proud of him!  I really hate he has duty this Saturday, so no more taco night at our house.  I really hate when he has duty on a weekend.  


Well, I'm going to try to get some sleep before baby girl gets up for her first bottle.  Night! :) 

Yesterday.

Guess what?!  We finally got our taxes back!  So no more complaining about that!  We went out last night and spent about 300 dollars just on groceries.  It is all healthy stuff though!  Since last time I blogged a lot of stuff has gone on, so where do I start?


Michael isn't going to PMO, he's kind of upset, I am too, I was just trying to wrap my head around the fact of him working 14-15 hour days, and only working 5 days a week, and the next only 2.  I know his shop is upset about it.  I just hate he filled out all that paper work, and they said everything was fine, then they come back to him and tell him he is too fat.  Michael isn't a big guy by any means.  He has gained a lot of muscle in his arms, and legs.  Yes, he does have a little bit of a belly, but that is thanks to my cooking.  The first time I saw him again for the first time he was skin and bones, to me he looks better this way, but not by Marine Corps standards.  So in other words he has to lose about 20 lbs in a month or he has to be on bcp.  I really don't want that to happen, so we are doing everything we can to get him back down to regulation.  Healthy, healthy food, like yogurt and fruit in the morning, a plain turkey sandwich with lettuce on wheat for lunch, and chicken for dinner with a salad, and nothing but water!  I don't mean to act like a mom, but I want him to pass, and I just think it's crap. 


Anyways, it's taco night at our house Friday!  Hopefully our friend Suddeth will bring Talisman, I hate to say it, but I am in love with that game, which makes me a big dork.  It is a game of strategy, but after 7 hours of playing just one game, I think I finally have the hang of it.  If he doesn't come we it least have our new kinect we just bought, I'm pretty sure Michael will be hooking it up when he comes home.  We might end up going out to buy more fruits, veggies, and yogurt though, lol, I mean we need to do what we can while we have the money.


Do you know what I hate?  I really hate two faced people, it's like when I'm on facebook, I just want to scream.  The status's some people put, it's like I know it's about me, just come say it to my freaking face!  The nerve of some people, thinking they are better than others.  It used to hurt my feelings, but people who run their mouths are the ones who have no life, and aren't happy with their own life so they feel the need to put others down and make fun of other people to make themselves feel better.  I feel like I'm back in high school, with all the drama some of the people have that I am friends with. 


I feel so good about finally being able to pay off some bills!  We really need to get my husband's credit score back up or we will never be able to do anything.  So that is pretty much what I am doing right now.  I have to wait until 8 to pay two other bills because they closed our accounts out, which sucks because I hate giving information over the phone. 


I am happy to say Harley finally slept through the night last night.  We kept her out all day since Michael got home, and she didn't go to actual bed until 10, so for now on we will be keeping her up.  We got her a new bouncy!  Her other one, her feet hang off.  This one isn't really a bouncy, it's a rocker, it vibrates, and it goes from infant to toddler.  I love it, it is a princess theme for our princess!  She got so many compliments last night on how pretty she is, and how good she is.  So please for the ones that like to make fun of my daughter, screw off.  That pisses me off more than anything to bring a child into an argument between 2 grown people.  I would never ever make fun of your child.
